POLKA AMERICA
CORPORATION
LAUNCHES GRANT PROGRAM
Ringle, Wis. (PMN)—Less than 60 days
after being officially designated as a national charity for polka
music, Polka America Corporation launches its first grant program.
The "Instruments for Disadvantaged Children" grant program is the
first of a string of endowment programs to be offered by the
organization in support of polka music across the country.
The program was announced in a press
release on April 22, 2008.
Michelle Genrich, President, said, "We
have just started to reach out to the community in support of polka
music at all levels. With programs like this, we anticipate the
communities and businesses will recognize the importance of
supporting our grant programs and other programs specifically
designated to support children in music."
